Refund policy

As all of our cables are made to order we have a 14-day exchange policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request an exchange.

To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.

To start an exchange, you can contact us at advice@lightstripsanonymous.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 23 Promenade, Nottingham.  NG3 1HB.  UK

If your exchange is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right..


European Union 14 day cooling off period
We are a small company offering over 7,000 cable variations on our site, so you can obtain the precise length you need for your individual setup.  For comparison Philips Hue offer 2 cable options across their entire range of lightstrips.  Because this extensive range depends on custom production, all cables are made to order and dispatched quickly, often on the same or next working day and cannot be stocked in advance.  Consequently, they are exempt from the 14-day cooling-off period.  That said we do accept returns, as we understand we all make mistakes, especially with so many varieties of Hue LightStrip.  We just ask you to give a full reason and discuss solutions before returning items.  Often when something doesn’t appear to work, it only needs a little guidance to use correctly.  If you believe you have received the wrong cable, it could be simple human error and we will do all we can to make that right. We just ask for photos of the end of the cable and your lightstrip, so we can figure out what has happened and move forward with a solution.  We of course respect your right to cancel any orders before dispatch.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
